    3- Quota Management & Increases

Every mainland company has a “Quota”—the maximum number of employees it can hire based on office size and activity. We manage your:

    Quota Applications
    Initial allocation for new businesses.
    Quota Increases
Justifying expansion based on business growth or new projects.
    Establishment File Updates
Keeping your company records current with MOHRE.

4- WPS (Wages Protection System) Compliance

To keep your work permits active, your company must be compliant with WPS. We provide guidance on salary transfers and help resolve “salary file” blocks that could otherwise stop your hiring process.

    FAQ’S

Have a question? We’ve got the
    answers you need.

Is the physical Labour Card still required in 2026?
No. The UAE has fully transitioned to a digital system. Your "Electronic Work Permit" is now part of your digital profile. It is linked to your Emirates ID, which serves as your primary proof of work and residency.
What is the fine for a late Labour Card renewal?
Employers have a 50-day grace period after a permit expires to renew it. If you fail to renew within this window, a fine of AED 500 is applied initially, with additional penalties if the delay continues.
Can I hire a worker who is already on a Family Visa (Husband/Father)?
Yes. You can apply for a "Work Permit for Residents Sponsored by Family." This allows the employee to keep their family residency while legally working for your company. This does not usually count against your company’s electronic quota.
How does Emiratisation affect my quota?
For mainland companies with 50 or more employees, there are specific targets to increase Emirati staff in skilled roles. For smaller companies (20-49 employees) in specific sectors, there are also headcount targets. Failure to meet these can lead to restrictions on issuing new foreign work permits.
Who pays the work permit and labour fees?
By law, the employer must pay all costs related to the work permit, including application fees and the MOHRE bank guarantee (if applicable). These costs cannot be recovered from the employee's salary or end-of-service benefits.
